The Story

After the strategic roadmap, Avo Solutions, Inc made the decision the discovery had been built to inform: invest in a connected operating system that could carry the whole firm.

The roadmap had named the destination clearly. The next stage was the build, bringing the business onto one connected system that reflected how the team actually delivered its work, with the firm's full operation in one place rather than spread across capable but separate tools.

The brief was direct. Build one connected system covering contacts, sales, and project delivery end-to-end. Migrate live data in without interrupting active client engagements. Hand it over to the team trained and able to run it themselves.

What We Built Together

We built Avo's operating system in SmartSuite, with three parts that talk to each other.

The first part holds every contact and company Avo works with in one place, with a clear answer to who the main point of contact is for each relationship. No more checking multiple tools to figure out who to email.

The second part runs the entire sales process, from the first opportunity to the closed deal. The team can see where every prospect stands at a glance, what's moving, what's stuck, what just got won, without anyone manually updating a list. When an opportunity becomes a deal, the system carries the right information forward automatically.

The third part runs project delivery and team task tracking together. Every project is structured the way Avo actually works. Each team member sees their own tasks the way that works for them, while leadership sees the whole picture. Nothing gets lost between the project plan and the person doing the work.

Live data was migrated and cleaned. The team was trained. Written guides were delivered so Avo could answer their own questions long after the engagement closed.

Ownership transferred at handover. SmartSuite worked well enough that Avo later chose to move other parts of their operation into it too, consolidating even the workflows that had been built on other platforms. The connected operating system became the brain of the business.
